Waste Management

Stop throwing out mixed waste :

Segregate the waste  Dry waste needs to be separated from your organic waste to enable you to compost at your home, flats, clubs, schools, parks and offices
Organic waste is 60% water > the municipal department spends fuel , cartage and labour transporting waste waster!

Our mixed waste reaches large dump sites which are illegal and unscientific, adversely affecting communities and the bio-diversity around them

Organic waste mixed with batteries, plastic m tube lights and medicine pollutes ground water , soil and air.

If we send our dry waste to the kabadiwallas , we support their livelihood and ensure that materials get recycled and not wasted.

Rag pickers earn less when cardboard, plastic and other recyclable materials are covered with sambar and rotting papaya. We can at least help reduce their losses by segregation
